Appealing colors and shadow/light alternance ...you have a good eye to see that . 

I'd suggest another crop in order to get a better composed image .In fact all the right and bottom side can be left apart in my opinion. You'll get a much stronger image in this way .

This is very nice work, Janegbert, although I would consider redoing it with more detail visible in the shadows--as an alternative treatment, not as a a replacement for the very fine scene which you have captured.

Hello , Janegbert , I am glad you appreciated my suggestion. Of course , it is your image ,and it's your own right to see it in your own way (wich has it's strenghts).

The chinese say " the mountain can be climbed on a thousand paths".

Art is subjective , and it's OK .

As for Lannie's suggestion of better detail in the shadows , I prefere the image as it is , I think the strong contrast does a lot of the charm of this image.But , again, it's just me.
