moe train 0 Posted July 15, 2003 This picture tells a story of two tired people... whose lives are to become even more exhausting once the baby arrives... I like it. (I like the Jagermeister tattoo also... my fav drink. But that's besides the point.) Link to comment
bacsa 0 Posted July 15, 2003 well...I can't recognize the Jaegermeister tattoo:o), but i kinda like the photo. It tells a story, indeed - but maybe different ones to different people. And that's good. The story that implies both the photo and the memories / fantasy of the viewer, that's sometimes better than a straightforward message. What I like in details about this, are: the dynamic position of the guy(he's clearly just leaving/turning his back to her); the non-explicit and still, explicit appearance of her, and finally, her bright white left foot is a nice touch. This photo should be more popular, more appreciated, indeed. I dare to suggest a "no words" thread with this in the "people photography" forum, just invent a better title than "yesterday". There are some really great people with really great eyes, I'm sure they will appreciate/critique it. If that's what you would like(and,if you can accept negative criticism too). The problem with photo critique in general is, that, those "155 views" are not really 155 full-size views. That counter refers to the number how many times the image was served, which includes thumbnail views and all the rest. And, on the other hand, not for *everybody* is this an appealing photo. If people take a quick look on the thumbnails, between the cats and sunsets this photo might be not eyecatching enough, so most of us won't even click on it! The mass photo.netter wants bright, colour saturated images of beautiful happy things - especially if those "things" are people. Hope this helps somewhat. Cheers. Link to comment
cristian_stan 0 Posted July 15, 2003 thanks. i entitled it "yesterday" just to make neutral, to catch the attention away from the title, it doesn't matter at all in my opinion. thank you again, i just thought it's something wrong with it, with me, with everything..:) Link to comment
