I do like this texture with the white flower.  I think I would like the composition better of the flower were diagonal rather than horizontal.  The color pallet is gorgeous.

Yes I think they do, it is very simplistic but beautiful in it's simplicity.

Very Good - rated 6.  The only suggestion would be to darken the background especially when it is close to the orchid - it would allow the white orchid to stand out even better.  In my humble opinion.
