Mother & Baby Jay

This Jay and her young were photographed from a hide, the Jays appeared

at different intervals of the day for a couple of hours.

Looks like a happy moment for both mother and baby.  Great capture with just the right amount of detail and blurred background.

You have posted a very low-res image here (680x412) although PN allows us 1500 on the longest side. So your image view is very small on my screen.

As such, for me, it appears a little soft as I can't identify any strong definition in the plumage or eye. The presentation, on the whole, is very good, although I would have like the last bit of tail. The background isolates the subjects well.

Possibly a touch of sharpening in PP could give it that little "pop" factor?

Shooting from a hide (if I remember correctly) I trust you used a tripod and as such should have obtained better definition.

A very good effort, nevertheless........
