Wow, you've been on PN for an age, yet only today have you popped up on my radar. Glad you have.

A lovely image here........ taken with a 500mm (possibly substantially cropped and converted from colour?)..... anyway, on my monitor it appears a touch soft so in PSE I just tweaked the contrast a touch...... hope you don't mind.

A super capture nevertheless.......... well done, and I'm envious of your trip there (smiles).

A great image to be sure, Amelia.  I'd leave a bit more room in front of the cheetah so that the head isn't quite so close to the edge of the frame.  Having said that, this is still a fine image - certainly one you can be very proud of.
