Yes, this IS in Banff/Lake Louise area.

There is, also, another Herbert Lake in Sask.  But, not your photo.  Sorry, my search pulled the Sask one.

No wonder it looks (looked) like the Rockies, lol.  (and it's my 'backyard' as I live in Calgary)
