Las Medulas, and old Rome's gold mine in Spain. They use "Ruina Montium" to get the gold. They make tunnels into the mountain and then leave millions of water gallons to break it.

Lighting is quite boring, lack of definition, saturation, contrast, etc. Composition is not too pleasing either.

The grass in the foreground is distracting, especially the way it obscures the closest mountain. I don't know how you could get rid of it thought.
