When I first saw this photo, I did a double-take. It looks so much like an old insane asylum where I have taken photos. Nice shot - I like it.

Wow great job with that... Are there a lot of old deserted buildings in Evansville? Ill have to head that way some time...

I came upon this one by accident. It is about 20 minutes down a gravel road. It is about the only one I've found so far worth shootin in.

This photo works because it takes advantage of "closure." In the mental recognition process, our minds automatically fill in missing pieces of objects. This usually happens with things that lie partly off the frame, but in this case, it is the subject and is in the middle of the picture. It works.

I like the graphic quality of this and the contrast. But I would like to see more depth in the texture of the brick and peeling paint. I think this photo has been underrated and I think you should try posting it again.
