Once again, I am in Goth Heaven! Very well done. Death and rebirth...

You have a beautiful portrait, nicely composed.  I like the repetition of the "V" or fan shapes in the dress, arms, and roots.  The eye is naturally drawn to her face, it being the lightest area in the photo.  The bottom half of the photo seems to have less contrast than the rest - or maybe it's because of the large area taken up with the fabric that makes it seem that way.  In any case, there does not seem to be a good, strong black anywhere.  You might try processing it so there is some black, while still keeping visible the texture of the fabric, hair, and roots in the shadows.

tree roots, sandy earth, girl holding one limb connecting her to the tree, and the bracelet are beautifully wrought to make it "gorgeous" goth ;-}... light on the pale goth face grips us... but the folds in the black skirt parallel the tree roots, for me... and create this reflection of the mysterious beauty in the goth world... luv it, Waldemar ;-} dp

Excellent work! Although I like Mark's version, I have a little preference for this one. The slightly "washed" effect adds to the mood.
