I've never had critiques on my work before. Please let me know what you

truly think. Rip it apart, so I can build my work up to a better standard. I'm

usually a wedding and portrait photographer, this was from a morning walk

through the woods.

Hello and welcome!

 

For a "beginner" you have good pictures from several points of view: good composition, clarity, simplicity and subject. Maybe your subject is too "common" and also the background sky ruin a little the image... But, largely I have chose your photo just because at first caught my attention. That is a very good thing!

 

ps: I'm not a very "technical" critic... just FYI...
