I love to catch peoples expressions, they are so different and they change

them totally. This is (again) one of Sara's portraits with a bit of temper going

on. Your thoughts and comments, suggestions and critiques will be warmly

received. Regards, Ulla

Dear Ulla in these portraits of girls you are able to touch their soul and all their hidden world: how many hidden parts have you? But all men and women have hidden things in their souls, but you know it, other people remove them! Ciao, Maurizio.

Good Morning, I agree with the above posters remarks,  especially Gails comment regarding starting fire with those eyes. Very good  image. Her expression says it all.

In addition to thecomments above, may I add that it is beautifully composed with a perfect exposure.  The tonal range is well represented.

hi,

went browsing this afternoon  forum and  bingo !!!

another excellent work from Ulla

you did catch her expression  very well, she is  really beautiful girl

she didn't t like the idea of being followed by your lens  I imagine,

and it  shows  :)

your DOF is just spot on, and you choice of BW is most  appropriate for this kind of work

Gail: She's got her fathers look, when she's unhappy. She could kill with her look, so I did challenge a bit my destiny... Well I'm just kidding, but yes I got lucky to get that expression on her face. I did put a little touch of blue colour in, just to make the photo a bit more cold. I will put a photo of her smiling just so you don't think she's always in a bad mood. Thank you so much for your nice comment Gail!

Mau: It's easy to take photos of someone you know and love, to get their expressions just right. And she is very photogenic, so that helps also! I have to get an unfamiliar model to see if I can get the photos as right as I want to :). My friend, thanks for a lovely comment!

@ Ruud: Thank you so much for making a nice comment, I'm honored!

Holger: Thank you for commenting on the photo, I'm so happy you like it!

Paul: Such a nice comment, I feel very glad and very happy, thank you!

@ Stephen: First when I went through the photos of that afternoon I was kind of sad that she didn't put her hair behind, but when I started to process it, I found it very appealing for the photo I wanted to do. Thank you for noticing it!

Przemek: Yey, I'm very happy you checked my portfolio and that you like this photo! She was a bit tired, because we were visiting friends and I wanted to take as many photos of her as I could, so I guess I was a bit persistent and she got bored and this is the result (so the conclusion, it pays to be persistent). Thank you for dropping by and making a great comment!

@ Radu: Nice to see your comment and thank you for the support!

Monte: Welcome to my portfolio and thank you for a very nice comment! I guess it was just that kind of day :)!

Love to all, Ulla
