Feeding Time at the Chicken Coop

The slight selenium tint with expertly preserved, rich tonality makes me think this was lifted from the WPA archives.  Apart from the ballcap, everything else could be then, could be now, could be tomorrow....The little white line stretching from his foot backwards adds a compositional flourish that seems to organize the everything, but so subtly it does so almost subconsciously. 

I hope it is the Chicken Coup and not 'home'. I imagine I would really  have my eyes opened if I ever visited there. When I think of it, I live in a very 'small' world. This is an excellent capture Jack, processing as well.

Feeding time for the chickens...or the seated man?

I like the timeless feeling of the image. We get so accustomed to our own small world that we forget about all the other ones out there. I've been taking contrived photos of aspiring models lately. Nothing about them is honest or truthful by intention.
