at least once a year since I became aware of it.

I don't know what it is that pulls you back to this spot, but I'm damn sure glad that it does.  I love the soft, muted lighting conditions, and your composition does a terrific job of injecting a real sense of dimensionality.  This is really beautiful, Fred.  Well done!  Cheers!  Chris

Great light.  Is this somewhere above Logan Pass?

Yes it is. It's out in the no mans land we were discussing in a previous post. I've always shot it at sunrise so thought I would try sunset this time. It got a little too cloudy but I did get a little bit of pink in the sky and the overall light was nice.
