lintrathen 15 Posted September 3, 2012 A very colourful image, but with too much negative space. I would consider removing some of the sky at the top and right side.... just my personal preference. We have a parrot (identical to this) who visits us daily for a feed, here in Perth WA. We surmise that it has excaped from an avery as we believe it to be a native of India.Best regards Link to comment

patspics 6 Posted September 4, 2012 Great colours - but maybe a little too much sky. I think I would have gone for a closer crop, but that's just my taste! Link to comment
lintrathen 15 Posted September 4, 2012 Following on from the above comments, had this been my image, I probably would have cropped it along these lines.I also added just a touch of sharpening, after the crop, to give a little definition in the dead tree.Regards Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 4, 2012 I like the various crops, not sure which one best, but besides that it is a great capture! Link to comment

kristina_kraft 0 Posted September 6, 2012 Hi Ranga,I like it better in the portrait mode. I also appreciate the way you executed it - without light and shadows, but rather in a uniform way. What seems to be the sky, it appears to be a pleasant blue background on which a clearly define form of a parrot is displayed. Link to comment
sranga 2,136 Posted September 7, 2012 KristinaThanks for your visit and comment.I took the shot at 7.46 in the morning facing due west, with a low sun right behind me. lucky if simple lighting condition on a completely clear sky day.blue skies are becoming rarer, with each year.here is the 'unprocessed' file.
