Ok, what do you like, what don't you like. I'm thinking it could be a

bit brighter. What are your thoughts???

Possibly a bit brighter, but not if you lose texture.

Great shot, excellent composition. I don't think it needs to be any brighter, you risk loss of detail in the outstretched wings. But it does look a little flat, and that is easily remedied by adjusting the levels. Now it really pops!

What a great BIF shot. I agree with Rick though and think it could use a little more pop. Fantastic work though.

What a great composition.  With the offsetting of the Owl, your image is just so much stronger. And the use of limited colors just ties everything together. Simply outstanding.

Thanks for the comments guys and gals.  I agree, Rick, it does pop nicely now.  I gotta start saving the files differently.  The uploads loose detail.

Magnificent shot of that snowy owl!!  Really nice light on the feathers, yet the bg is darkened, making it stand out so well.  And the brown markings in the feathers coordinate perfectly with the beautiful oof bg.  Lots of detail and a good eye.  Love that wing position and the tail fan as well!  Very nice!
