Wayne Sadler 738 Posted August 31, 2012 As we moved through the labyrinth that was the route to the Sistine Chapel, my wife pointed out that it was getting difficult to distinguish between a painting, for example of drapes from real drapes. The art was that realistic. When I entered this room, people, sculpture and paintings seemed to mingle in very real ways. Comments and critique are welcome. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted August 31, 2012 This images deserves many more comments of praise. A very, very intersting rendition. At first, yes, it looks like only paintings and sculptures. Your wife has a great eye for photographic situations. This is quite unusual, specially the lady in the lower left, that appears to be taking a photo, with a long dress....? Superbly done. Congratulations.DG Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 738 Posted September 2, 2012 Thanks, Daniel for visiting and appreciating this image. So much came together in this room and when I saw the photographer (a real person) wearing the same blue that was throughout the room, I hoped that I could relay the sensation in a photograph.Ranga, Thanks for stopping by and your compliment.Patsy, Thanks, Patsy. It would be interesting to see how you would photograph the Vatican Museum.Ruud, Upon entering this room, I probably was of a mind of awareness not unlike how you perceive your street scene moments. The lighting took a little work in post processing, ok maybe a lot of work. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 4, 2012 Truly excellent detail Wayne!! The lady in blue actually gives me a sense of perspective between the paintings, sculpture and 'reality'. It really is quite a fantastic sight. There is such 'depth' in the paintings that it all has a real 3D feel. Excellent, thankyou for sharing,Kind regards, Gail Link to comment
