This is gorgeous!  Sterling composition, and it really pops with color. Well seen and processed.  I hope you're having a great summer, Tony.  Cheers!  Chris

Such a grand landscape, something I must see with my own eyes soon.  The light clouds, even though they are very delicate, help give this a wild feeling, IMO.

Tatjana, Patsy, Christopher, Museeb, Ruud, Richard and Stephen, thank you very much for your kind words. I took this image in 2009 and hurriedly processed it on my laptop so I could post it quickly to PN. I have been going through some of those images and reprocessing them and this is one of them. I think my processing skills have improved and my tastes have matured a bit so that may be reflected in the new processing.

To be honest I  could have sat and looked at this scene all day. Those wispy low lying clouds moved through the mountain side at a good pace, covering and defrocking the mountain side resulting in a different image every few minutes.  I had thoughts of sleeping in my van on an empty piece of land where I saw two other vehicles as if they were going to stay for the night. Only about one vehicle in about 30 minutes will pass by. I thought twice and then I  decided reluctantly not to bed down here for the night. After i completed my photography i would have to travel another two hours to get to Whitehorse. Driving at night, blissfully exhausted, can be a safety challenge.  Will a black bear run across the road? Almost happened to me a few days earlier after the sun had gone down.

It must have been very difficult to leave this amazing country behind. Lovely image Tony. I recall this one. Taking the time to reprocess is a good idea. Plus it lets you visit those wonderful memories all over again.
