I like the textures, the angle of the view, the depth of field and the focal point. These all combine with the misty, ethereal background to create a feeling of mystery; a journey into the unknown. Detracting from this feeling are a few distracting elements. The objects at the end of the boardwalk are ill defined and cause the viewer to question what they are (houses? Boats?) which focuses the mind too much and, for me, takes away from the air of mystery. Also, but to a lesser extent, the blue flowers and the houses to the right of frame also distract a little. Without these elements you would have a much cleaner, more succinct and vastly more efficacious image.
