happy_chappy 0 Posted July 12, 2003 I was going to say that this is the daddies but no arms makes me feel uneasy. I can live with one of her legs being lost to the darkness but the way the arms are lost... that for me is too much. If you had just managed to capture just some of the arms that would have made it for me. If it hadn't been for that, this would have been worth a 7 in my view. Link to comment
nikos 0 Posted July 14, 2003 I disagree with the above comment regarding limbs lost in shadows. In fact I think that is exactly what makes this photo interesting. I don't like the positioning on the frame though, and it seems to me the title is incompatible to subject matter. Link to comment
sivakumar m. maniam 0 Posted July 31, 2003 I like this image. Your composition and ligthing effect is great. Very aesthetic, great work. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 31, 2003 I think that the arms would help this out. Also making the girl alittle bigger and cropping alot of the unused black from around the subject. T.Page Link to comment
mauricio alcaraz carbia 0 Posted July 31, 2003 Daniel: Me gusta mucho la idea aunque tal vez si es mucho espacio el que dejas alrededor de tu modelo. Tal vez misma idea pero con más modelo y menos espacio? Link to comment
kristian reinau 0 Posted July 31, 2003 Really nice picture I really like the idea of all the darkness! Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted July 31, 2003 Danniel this is very difficult to critique properly because (like 3 other pictures in the folder), you have a lot of empty black space. Now on a computer screen that means the subject is very small, so we can say "yes this composition is good" or "the subject needs to be larger". When you have light and shadow in a small number of pixels on screen you lose some of the medium areas. It might be worth adding a comment with a section of picture in it. I think this is a good picture - but viewed like this it is hard to be sure Link to comment
