Hermit Crab Closeup

Caught a picture of this guy exiting a coconut shell at the beach. The

depth of field is pretty shallow (I had to get the exposure time down

because he was on the move), but I like the way it puts the focus on

the eyes and legs.

It always hard to get images of living creatures... You did it, and did it well!

I think it turned out very well!! Really ominous looking as it is coming towards 'me'!!! I did not realize it was a Crab at first! Glad you decided to take the shot!

Cute little guy.  I wasn't sure what it was either, until I ready your title.  The dof looks fine to me.  Maybe cropping some of the empty bright left side off would improve it, but it is a very nice image.
