rp3o 0 Posted July 9, 2003 This was a model of the moon at the American Museum of Natural History's Rose Center; I shot it so that the background (upper right corner) would be dark. Adding contrast in photoshop allowed me to approximate space; I also desaturated the image to reduce the reflection of a second source of lighting (center left). Then I added faint stars in the "space" part of the image, to add some "reality" to the photo...just a little fun in photoshop...! Comments? Link to comment
carol_watson 0 Posted July 9, 2003 Cool idea, Rajesh. You may also have fun using it as an overlay texture ontop of another shot. :-) Link to comment
rp3o 0 Posted July 9, 2003 Carol, what do you mean by "overlay texture ontop of another shot?" I'm not sure how to do that - could you explain? Link to comment
bjn 0 Posted July 12, 2003 I like the image, it feels like a scene from the silent movie "A Trip to the Moon". The stars are pointless (pun intended) in this small jpeg. I really dislike the border, it's far too strong a graphic shape for the image. Link to comment
