Thanks Joscelyn. I must check my notes but the road on which i was traveling was the narrow strip of land between two large lakes. Going North, this lake was on the left side.  The major attraction for me was the yellow in this sighting. I waited until the sun hit those spots.

This is a reprocessing of a shot I took in 2009.

I believe the reflection that the dead trees contribute to this composition trump any distraction they may cause on the mountains.

Gorgeous shot, Tony. It's so perfectly unbalanced. The vivid blue of the sky in the lower right keeps pulling my focus there only to retreat to the zig zag of water and plant layers in alternating shades of blue-gray and yellow above.

Expertly created by Mother Nature and just as expertly captured by Tony Hadley.

Cheers ~

Superb image Tony.  Your choice of vertical composition works well to increase the feeling of depth in this image.  I love the colors, the blue of the reflection work fabulously well against the yellows.  The light patch in the distant mountain is also quite interesting.  Lovely work.  Regards - michel

Very nice shot, Tony !!  I agree with the poster regarding the vertical presentation.  IMO it really adds drama to the line of orange trees.  Excellent composition IMO.  Also very nice colors and tone.

Really well done...
