ellery 0 Posted August 5, 2012 favorite b/W in a while...love the lines in teh shot..the architecture...the contrasty sky, and the girl walking...all added up for an amazing shot! 7 for me. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted August 5, 2012 The B&W works nicely for this shot. I like the way the lines of the stairs lead to the tower. The person walking down the stairs also adds a nice element to the story, she seems unphased by the scene. The clouds make for an interesting background behind the tower. Well seen and presented. - Charles Link to comment
Art X Photography 1 Posted August 6, 2012 i agree, there's so many ways to capture this icon and yours is a wonderful version of it as well. Monochrome editing eally brings out the dynamic sky. compliments Kah Link to comment
gamini_wettewe 0 Posted August 10, 2012 Nice play with light. Like the sky and the tones in the image. I would have avoided the clutter in the center ( part of the city) and given more emphasis to the steps, the girl and the tower.RegardsGamini Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted August 10, 2012 And how exactly would you have done that Gamini? Link to comment
vetterhome1 0 Posted August 11, 2012 Indeed great lines also be the shadow. The lady makes it wonderful. Link to comment
gamini_wettewe 0 Posted August 11, 2012 Possibly a lower camera angle would have hidden the center details by the wall and may be a little closer to the figure.RegardsGamini Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted August 12, 2012 Personally I prefer to see the bridge leading under the tower than have it truncated by the ledge. There's an outtake with the girl closer up on my Facebook page; it doesn't work. Link to comment
