"Parisian Holidays" or "Une Americaine a Paris"... She just came out of the plane (she has an Air France bag and there is an AF terminal next to this bridge) ... she seems enjoying so much her first steps in the capital!

The captured woman's expression is fantastic

I like the way her expression AND the colour of her dress (there's no such other tone in the shot) conjure in isolating her in-her-world.

 

Much has been written on the composition and position of the lady in the shot. From my side, I like the place where she is: the strong structures of the dome and the street lamps frame her quite tightly, but the space on the foreground street helps releasing such pressure: all in all quite in equilibrium.

Very nice capture. I like colours a lot on this photo, seems almost staged, seems a little bit more sharpened than I would like (not sure). Congratulations
