kristian reinau 0 Posted July 7, 2003 I had some problems uploading the technical details about this picture so here they are: I took this photo a winter evening. It was very cold and dark as I walked over the fields. My track is visible on the photo. I only had my camera and a tripod. The light meter wasnt able to make a reading for the time needed to exposure, it just turned out f:3,5 and time = bulb, because the light was to low (the lens is quite slow f:3,5-6,3). I couldnt see a thing in the dark, so I just placed the camera on a tripod, and set the camera on aperture 5,6 and the focus on infinity. Actually, I wasnt able to see my tracks, and therefore they are in the picture. Beside of that, I didnt have a remote control for the camera, so I made 8 exposures of the motive on the same negative, lasting 30 seconds each, equivalent to one exposure on 4 minutes. Unfortunately I wasnt quick enough, and therefore the star strips is broken a couple of times. Anyway I think the result I good! What do You think? Link to comment
