patrick_brossard 0 Posted July 10, 2003 Colours are bright and beautiful. The flower makes the composition more original and the picture has been nicely perfomed. However, the proportion of your picture could have been better by cropping 1/3 of the sky, because we don't know what was catching your eyesight: the sky or the grass and the flowers? Link to comment
rap 0 Posted July 12, 2003 I do like the shot so dont get me wrong. I will offer an opinion that this is either a picture of clouds or of a flower in a field, but when taken together ones eye is confused. Cropping closer with not so much sky would tend to organize it a bit. Ideal would be to lower the camera about 6 inches or so, but that would change the perspective of the flower. What I would look at in the future, (and infact did) is to keep my divisions between sky and land out of the middle of the photo, much like not centering a person in a photo. Let the land of sky dominate, and if you get confused because both are spectacular just take a photo of both independantly and work in photoshop to perhaps combine elements of both. All in all I like it, but I would cut or crop out half the sky. Link to comment
oliver_indra 0 Posted July 14, 2003 Nice mood you captured but the framing leaves me somewhat hmm. The pic is divided in two halfs by the horizon and it almost looks like two completely different pics stitched together. Greetings, Link to comment

leorossi 0 Posted January 21, 2004 The picture is definitely divided into two separate poles of attraction, and I love that. If it is a composite it's extremely well done. Kudos! Link to comment
