The garden of wooden carvings is even busier than his workshop. Difficult

not to stop at such a site on a country drive. The gentleman seems to

have retired from his active vocation. I photographed this in a rather

documentary fashion, partly due to the somber light, partly in response to

Hi, Wangham.  Thanks. It was quite an assembly of carvings and bird houses, and the craftsman had retired and abandoned the idea of selling them. His grounds were just as full of other wood sculptures, gradually transitioning back to nature as they slowly weathered. A small rural village in the mountains of central-east Quebec.
