Palms at Night

I took this on a night that was really clear. In the long exposure the

light from a near by village lit the low lying fog orange, which

really wasn't that visible to me at the time. I find it makes for a

nice image though. The original had a lot of noise, so I applied a

smoothing filter to eliminate it and found I liked the effect it had

when I cranked it up. I'm wondering what others think of the painting

like quality that the smoothing produced.

Siegfried, the combination of colors palms and stars come together for a beautiful effect.  Somewhat like an impressionistic painting but with greater detail.  Very nice work.  Best regards, Frank
