jim_j2 9 Posted July 16, 2012 Thanks for taking the time to view, comment/critique, rate and allowing me the opportunity to share! Was out early this morning before the temperature got too warm. Didn't even notice the little guy on the left through the Viewfinder at the time of the shot, was too busy chasing the Bee! Thanks again, Jim j. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 313 Posted July 17, 2012 Macro is the most difficult kind of photography, not to mention the photographs of insects, having that in mind I estimate this one as a great success! Well done Jim! Best regards PDE Link to comment

jim_j2 9 Posted July 17, 2012 Many thanks for your visits and encouraging comments. Pierre, Well it was doing pretty well, had 8 ratings for a rating of 5.00, then someone came along and rated it a 3, so now it sits at 4.78. Guess this is just another one that will never make the "Members Daily Sampling" or the Random Image Gallery or anything on PN's Home page! Have no clue why it would warrant a 3 rating? I thought it an "average" photograph! Thanks for the encouraging comment though, . . . Thom, Yes, the little Spider, . . . I never saw him even after I downloaded from the CF Card and only discovered him after I started working the photograph. Even then it was after I had done the crop and was applying a little sharpening and had zoomed in considerably and, . . . there he was! A bonus! Many thanks,Jim j. Link to comment
