On top of the world

I took this last night in order to finish up my roll, and it turned

out to be one of the best photos I got out of it.

I like this picture a lot. It reminds me of being young and dreaming. I always looked to the sky no matter what I was dreaming of.

I really like the comp. To me it says: looking ahead, facing the future with your chin up ready to go. I don't think the subject is to the top yet, but will be soon.

I have a 19year old daughter. This is what I have been trying to teach her. Independence, optimism and opportunity.
