marian,  like how you have quartered the sunflower.  also nice colors with soft b/g.  would like to see a bit more definition especially in seed pod area.  still nice image.

Interesting composition with the quartering of the Sunflower. The light being stronger to the lower left, makes it just that much more interesting to view with the varying tones of the petals.

I agree with Roger's assessment that a seed pod is somewhat out of focus, and would have made for a much stronger composition is it was also in focus.
