Hello all,

I am looking for general feedback on this. I am also looking for a way to

bring out the "Ford" logo on the hat, so if anyone has suggestions as to

how to accomplish that, I would appreciate it!

I'm no image editing expert by any means, Everything thing I know about it, I taught myself by fiddling around with it. I use GIMP, a free image editing program that I find is very powerful if you know how to use it. So I traced the outline of the Ford logo and went to the levels tool and adjusted the levels to add more contrast to the logo. Then I inverted the selection so I could selectively affect the area outside of the logo. First I went to the burn tool and darkened the area around the logo to get more contrast. Then I went to the selection editor and "grew the selection" by 2 pixels which makes the edge of the selection move into the logo a bit and then I used the blur tool to blur the sharp edge I created in the previous steps so that it looks more natural. I did this on the quick, 5 min. If you spend some more time with it I'm sure you can get some better results.

I'm no PS specialist either............ I just used the Levels sliders and lightened the dark areas and darkened the light areas.... a touch of sharpening and........ voila!
