sgust 1 Posted July 10, 2012 I'm playing around with a new post process method and I'm curious whatothers think of the contrast, colors, etc. The following image iscloser to what the lighting and colors were really like.I stitched this image together from several images to get the wholebuilding. The stitch is imperfect, which is what I get for taking thepictures handheld and not with a tripod. I'd like to return with mywide angle some day. Link to comment
frode 0 Posted July 10, 2012 I think colors and contrast are fine, and also the perspective correction. I am not sure, but maybe the picture should have been a tad wider, so the tree to the right did not separate from the ground. I think the viewpoint is good. All in all, I think it is a nice picture of the building. Best wishesFrode Link to comment
timinich 0 Posted July 12, 2012 I might try to crop or edit the tree out of the picture. Overall, striking photo of the cathedral. Link to comment

teos 0 Posted August 28, 2012 Good lighting and colors.Intereting angle. IMHO ,the perspective correction is too...perfect , so the building looks a little unnatural to me.The left side and the right tower seem to lean towards the exterior to the eye used with the normal perspective ,especially using this angle. Of course , it's an optic illusion, they are perfectly vertical . And of course , it's a matter of taste maybe it's just me .If you allow , I'll post here an example of what I mean .I am very curious of the original photo . Link to comment
sgust 1 Posted August 28, 2012 Your comment made me take a second look at it and after playing around with the image I have to agree with you. It kind of shocks me now that I didn't see it earlier. The perfectly straight verticals are a product of the stitching program I use. I only cropped and did some post processing that didn't involve any distortions. Here is a downsized version straight out of AutoStitch. And I'll post the edited version with some perspective "distortion" as the next image so others can chime in on which they prefer.
