Wayne Sadler 738 Posted July 2, 2012 Georgia O'keeffe is quoted as saying, “It takes time to see”. Over a year and a half has passed since I visited Italy. Now many of my images of Italy look different to me and I tend to process these images more with a painting in mind. I simplify by combining and create lost and found edges and passages that allow my eyes to flow through the image. I try to make an image express my memories and feelings (however foreign they may be to reality) without revealing so obviously that it is this artist’s contrivance. Comments and critique are appreciated. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 3, 2012 I understand your thinking Wayne. Many of our memories do not, when recalled come to us in exacting detail, but rather are translated into an image aggected by our 'mood' and the 'ambiance' we felt at the time. I think this is an excellent 'process' for this image. Link to comment
