Making Life Possible

I shot this with the 300 2.8 IS and some extension tubes.  It gives me a very nice working distance and decent results.  C and C welcome.  Thanks for looking.

An excellent capture Richard.The bees really love these particular flowers, and I alwasy find they look so fetching atop them. Your detail, focus and DOF is outstanding. Bees are among my favorites to capture. Very nice work!

Wonderful Dof, bokeh, and light. I like the depth created by the flower in the foreground, but it's not distracting. And right on his POV. Great shot.

Thanks for the positive comments to all.  A couple of things that made this what it is:  This spot is in my yard and there is about a 1/4 acre of wild flowers (and weeds).  I  went out because the light was right and set up to shoot so whatever came into range would have decent light.  I was shooting with a 300mm and extension tubes to give a very easy working distance.  I shot from a tripod.
