I am a fan of your work and this image is no exception.  Textbook soft modeling light on her face giving her features a very nice 3-D look.  I don't know about the red gel in the hair-light but it does do a good job with color harmony because otherwise her blond hair would be clamoring for attention.  The eye goes to what is different than the red areas and that would be her skin tone and marvelous eyes.  You may have taken a pose like the adjustment I made but I wanted to show another hand pose with your image. Because her expression is reserved and not quite relaxed the straight arm, hand and fingertips into her left palm you did is probably the right choice.  I did a quick repose of her hand (please excuse the distortions) that seems more relaxed to me for your consideration.  Either way, this is a great image.

When John W gets in first, he ususally says it all. His comment here is no exception........ a beautiful capture.

I also like John's relaxed hand/arm option...... both poses add to my learning curve for getting my portrature right. Thanks to you both.

Congrats to Sascha....... she is lovely.

Well done to you both.

Beautiful portrait. I love every thing about it, the expression the light, the pose, skin tones, and engaging eye contact. I would not have been able to find anything to add, as i find it simply perfect, but John W.'s comment made me learn something new.  Great portrait and excellent discussion.  Regards - michel
