gap 0 Posted June 30, 2012 OK this is the last cat post for now, I promise. But take the mulitplicity of images as evidence that I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that pressing the shutter is not the end of the process. I'd be really glad of your comments spanning all of the various cat images - am I adding or taking away with the post processing? I want to learn and improve - please help! Link to comment
lintrathen 15 Posted June 30, 2012 The issue (on my monitor) is the difference between the clarity of this image on PN and how it "pops" on PSE. Your conversion from colour to B&W is spot on, however you may like to consider an extra "squeeze" of sharpening to compensate for the loss in file transfer. Hopefully my attempt might illustrate this?Lovely cat by the way.Regards Link to comment
gap 0 Posted June 30, 2012 Thanks Grayham - I see what you mean and I do think the touch of sharpening helps. Having been a sharpening junkie I try to tone it down these days, but I think I may have erred on the side of caution, so thanks for suggesting it. And thanks for taking the time to comment - very much appreciated! Link to comment
