davidroossien 0 Posted July 6, 2003 This is beautiful work... I love the strands of hair with a little backlighting... Link to comment
tra 0 Posted July 24, 2003 The tonal gradation is there, the sharpness is there, but the crop looks funny to me. Perhaps vertical framing would work? Also, I find the busy background to be somewhat distracting. Link to comment
matt_l.1 0 Posted September 28, 2003 This is a very beautiful picture - great expression, lighting and printing. The DOF was selected perfectly. I might wish to have the background (i.e. the sunny ground) burned it a bit with a low filter to take away some of the brightness surrounding her. This is a very excellent photograph! Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted November 23, 2003 This should be looked at along with the other portraits. It has that distinct style which captures a glistening moment in the subject's life. Beyond that, it also reflects the model's reaction to the photographer, which is why no two portraits taken by different persons are ever the same. Very interesting. Well done. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Great DOF here. This individual has a nice expression and as John pointed out, it comes out through an interaction with you as the photographer. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted December 11, 2003 One of the very good portraits in this site. Her look is beautiful and your selected DOF the sppropiate one. Her position in the frame very good. Link to comment

thomas_moraitis 0 Posted April 8, 2004 Now that I see it again, I would cut one second of exposure of the paper, to bring out detail in the eyes. But its a great portrait, in the sense that it shows clearly a link between the photographer and the subject. Congratulations! Link to comment

Uhooru 2,207 Posted October 28, 2004 My favorite in your portfolio full of fine portraits. This one because of the freshness, expression and the tonality. Though your digital shots are generally tack sharp, I like the tonality of your film photos best. Regards, and lovely stuff. Link to comment
