Rothenberg village

Let me know what you think of this image from Rothenberg. It was quite

misty however I have attempted to remove a bit of the mist in post

I'd like it better with the mist. I am very much attracted by the idyllic villages covered with either mist, fog or snow.

I can't see any trails of removing the mist here. However, it looks all right to me. I like this flat tonalities.

That's a dilemma I often face:  how much mist to remove thereby increasing contrast.  I'm more inclined to let it be than to remove it, and I wonder how this would have looked.  It's a very nice grouping of old buildings, especially what may be a church in the background.  You might consider cropping to eliminate the partial and wide roadway on the right, although that might disrupt your preferred aspect ratio.
