Fascinating image - I  love the way you've captured the movement of the dance and the concentration of the dancer.  Would love to know more about why she was dancing on what appears to be a jetty.

Welcome.

Thank you for the comments.

I also really like this picture.

This is exactly as in life: dance is an expression of joy and shows emotions.

This girl has so much energy so I could show the movement and dynamics.

The only thing that bothers me is the lack of shoes in this scene.

But the heels fell into the gap between the boards and model stumbled

I think that it is the best for photography to show the dance on the boards, so there is the bridge.

Regards Leszek.

Why should she be wearing shoes? She's Russian :)

Like the others, the movement of her dress makes this picture magical.

She is not a Russian, a Polish.

A dancer without shoes is like beautiful music without major chords ......

Shoes make feet look slenderness and elegance.

If she is shown dancing on the grass or the sand she should be without shoes.

I like the cold tonal range in opposition to the passion for dance. Meaningful, for me. This is a wonderful photograph because of the dynamics revealed by dance motion, her body language, her beauty, and the clever framing.

About shoes, I don't agree with you Leszek, sorry.

Nude feet are the original nature of real dance from ancient times, not the long heel shoes (appropriated for fashion shots and all those modern times related stuffs).

On the other hand a woman with nude feet is the essence of sensuality. Look at the language of her hands, and now look at the language of her feet. Perfect harmony, both are telling us something mysterious and appealing, we are looking at the miracle of a woman dancing, exposing  her joy and delicate character through hands and feet.  No shoes admitted for that.

At all, great job Leszek.
