Great image. I might have darkened it a bit to get some detail in the right side of her face. I may play with it tomorrow to show you what I mean.

I like her pose and exporession. The tones of her cheek and her shoulder are too close and almost indistinguishable - maybe you could try to add some backlight to show the contour of her face, or frontlight (only a little). Frontlight will also solve to dark right side.

These back seat drivers are not making any improvements. Your image was lit well, and had appropriate contrast, just as you posted it.

It's interesting that the fingers missing from one side of the photo, seem to re-appear on the other :^)... t

p.s. good eye contact. I'd be asking her to come back for more work, she has a very different, unique beauty, and really let you have it.

I keep coming back to this one. Her intent gaze and the cropping make her very near/very real to the viewer.

Note to Tom Meyer:

Not trying to be a back seat driver. I rated the image a 7. I just was trying to see the jaw line on the right side of her face. This entire series of images of this model is superb. Just trying to see if the suggestion might help. I thought this was the purpose of this exercise.

"I thought this was the purpose of this exercise" Exactly so. Say what you will, and do not think I would oppose your saying it. I was merely attempting to be conversational. My words sometimes seem stiff like a lecture, and this small euphemism was attempt to avoid that. Should I have said "pay no attention to those other back seat drivers..."?

I was being supportive at others expense, please forgive. The point I attempt to make is this: The photo is excellent without being technically perfect. I am unconfused as to the line of her cheek; a perfect miracle of human geometry. See even it's echo in the shadows.. t
