Forever Wild

harrylichtman

2 exposures for focus, 2 exposures for dynamic range, f16, ISO 100. A grand sunrise as spring greens creep up the sides of NH's largest wilderness area. Hard to believe that this view was the site of one of the most extensive clear cuts in the state during the late 1800's and early 1900's. A remarkable recovery.

Just beautiful, Harry, very nice colors reflected in the foreground.

My only nit might be that when I clicked on the larger version, the foreground appeared somewhat crunchy, particularly on the right edge.  That may not be an issue on a printed version.

Harry,

A spectacular landscape of these mountains complimented by a beautiful color of sunrise. I see at least eight mountain layers with different and majestic color rendition.

Beautiful. Thanks for your comment on my photo.

Regards!

Dave - I think the crunchiness may be due to the compression with highly detailed images.  The FG has lots of it, and maybe it is to blame.  The tiff looks fine so the print should work out OK.  Thanks, maybe less sharpening for the web though.
