The Light on the Left Bank

A small split in the horizon at sunset allowed some glorious colours to

develop after a very wet and rainy day.

Very nicely timed. I guess I wish the walking ghosts weren't there, but c'est la vie.

I'd be tempted to crop it to the right of the illuminated sign and the bright car lights which compete a bit with the sunset in luminance.  That would also eliminate the ghost people, which really don't bother me that much.

I've got versions without the ghosted figures but they add to the scene. I have every few photos of Paris without people in them and I use the absence of humans for very specific purposes. It's the opposite of my approach in my early years of travel photography.
