I appreciate your visit and very happy that you liked it. I must have shot about 30 images of this scene and this is the one I liked the most. I was thinking of lightening the whole image but I am not sure.

Hi Tony.

Great picture. I love the palette of colors. Very gentle and almost magic.

best regards Per.

What are the statistical odds that three concurrent critiques have their first name starting with `P`. Fascinating! Patsy, Pat and Per - I appreciate your visit and comments.  Right now there is a cloudless sky and it is 6:30pm  Eastern Standard time and the sun sets just before 9pm so it is time for my little walk.

Tony, this is quite nice as is. If anything, maybe see what it looks like with the flower brightened up a tiny bit as long as it doesn't introduce hot spots. The water and bubbles are perfect the way they are. Nicely done!

Hi Tony,

Beautiful shot!  I like how the flower contrasts with the golden tones of the background and the blue accents are a very interesting touch.  The reflection also adds another dimension and the composition works well.  I agree with Mark about lightening the flower only, just a little, and leaving the rich background as is.  Just my two cents.  Regards

Tony,

I think the lighting is just right, I would not mess with it.  Beautiful work with great composition and dof.

When I was writing about the three "P"s you slipped in and made a comment which is always appreciated. I checked your portfolio a few times and I want to encourage you to stir up your passion for photography. All the very best.

Mark A and Phil  - your recommendation is food for thought.

Pierre - glad you found it to be perfect.

Janegbert -  creative and beautiful is a difficult combination - glad you thought that way.

Alan - Just Right - your input is appreciated.

Roger - I visited your link and I appreciate the advice you have there. I have thought of selling my images and especially prints but I almost hate the thought  of spending time in that arena and taking me away from capturing images. I guess that I have to think about some glorious new equipment and how I could pay for it with sales.  My Epson printer can do excellent work up to 13 x 19 and I print a few mostly for myself.     All the very best,

Hi Tony. IMHO I would leave lighting as is. The image overall has a lovely soft balance to it . Really love the golden highlights in the water and colours and textures of the water bubbles. Really lovely work! Best wishes. Sarah.
