Andris, you are right! at that time I always had the filter on the lens but my be I didn't rotate it.:-), but it depends on the angle of the sun whether the effect works. I think the picture was taken at noon

Your version has a great sky but the "white" is gone!So the perfect solution would be : only change the sky. But then you have to avoid the "halos" of selection.:-(

I think the bird makes this image. It really helps the image pop, instead of just making it another image of a Mediterranean town. It also gives a sense of quiet, like it's watching things going on below. I like it Robert!
