Carnival in Rio - Rawdon QC

The leaves on the left side were important to me since I believe it provides an anchor of 'reality' with the surroundings which have an abstract quality. The 2nd image "Colors" has no leaves in the water but I left a bit of the shoreline for visual contrast. At least that was the way I was thinking.

PS this has been reprocessed making the bottom third a bit lighter.

Hi Tony, As normal with your snaps. Great colors. The leaves add magic. Was  thinking what if the image was flipped over by 180 degrees to make the trees upright?
