I am enthralled at the clarity & isolation of the foreground dog. I find however, that my eyes are continually drawn away to the background dog. An earlier commenter mentioned Photoshop. It might be interesting to see what the shot would look like with the background dog completely eliminated. It might add a deeper sense of loneliness & isolation to the image (not sure if that's your goal however). Still very impressive as it stands.

Except lack sharpnes, truly lovely image !

I like the shot, but find you're losing a lot of detail in the carpet highlight. Also, agree that the out-of-focus dog in the background is distracting.
