Toe shoes

For lighting I tried "painting" this subject with a flashlight and am

not too happy with the result. No other light was used. Exposure

was about 20 secs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Looks like the light was fairly frontal and exposure was under. I'd suggest experimenting until you're happy with the results.

I like the adjustment, and glad for you to shoot toe shoes, and prefer to catch the boldness, the strength of the shoe, the sheen, and the life in the ribbons vs. a softness. Thanks.
