Welcome to PN and congrats on your "bravery" for putting an image up for critique.

I like what you have done with this image. The bleak, wintery backdrop isolates this Robin beautifully. From a personal perspective, I would have liked a slightly larger subject in the frame and so I loaded your image into PSE for a "play"..... mainly to remove a little of the backgound.

Here I noticed an "artifact", left behind during your post processing, and have highlighted it here for you so see. Notice the thin blue line down the right side of the orange breast..?

Always be mindful to enlarge your finished processing (as big as you can) to make sure that it all hangs together well.

Having said that............ your original capture has a lot of merit.

Hi Grayham thank you for the advise it really helped. I was aware of the blue line but was unable to fix it due to the fact that I have no editing software. I did this at a friends house using theirs and only saw the blue when I returned home and could not fix it. Again thank you for you're opinion and next time or whenever I get some software I will be sure to double check for things like  that. Thanks again.
