That is definitely a keeper. Excellent timing, the background looks like a watercolor painting, and the Katydid is excellently colorful. Exposure looks great, no blowouts. A+ but I'm just a 23 year Package Handler from Virginia.

When I posted this image I was expecting it to be well received as I was very proud of it. But to my surprise, after 10 months your the first to comment on it. It was actually taken out in an orange grove. The nice background was just a lucky coincidence, I was mainly attracted to the nice coloration of this insect. After doing some searching, I found it's a Costa Rican Pitbull Katydid (Lirometopum coronatum), a predatory katydid, something I didn't even know existed.
